This song takes a look at romantic love and the idea of two people becoming one. Having grown up on Disney movies, I was indoctrinated like many of us. I have come to the conclusion that this kind of living arrangement is a fantasy and a lie. I wrote the song as a simple, old-style country ballad which Damien transformed into something sweet, dark and dramatic.
